New Delhi: Asus, which is all set to launch the much-awaited Zenfone 2 in India on April 23, now has a Zenfone 2 page up on e-commerce site Flipkart .com.

The Flipkart Page teasing the arrival of the phone asks consumers to register to stay up-to-date with the introduction". "You will be notified by e-mail when it becomes available. Thank you for your interest in this Item," says the website post process.
The company will clarify its distribution model for the Zenfone 2 on April 23. It is yet to reveal if the phone will sell exclusively on Flipkart or in retail shops too.

 When questioned Chang Petere about the Zenfone 2 Arrival during a media preview on April 10, he said, "wait for the event to hear more on its availability details in India."
Asus is promoting the Zenfone 2 as "the world's first 4GB RAM phone". While we got to get our hands-on the device, we are yet to use it for a longer duration.

The phone will take on the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 4 and OnePlus One, and will compete Note3 and other high end mobiles in terms of spec but will compete mid end mobiles in terms of price..

Apart from the Zenfone 2, Asus will also launch a 10000mAh super accelerated power bank and two other mobile accessories at its April 23 event. While the company has kept under wraps what the two other accessories could be, we assume one of them to be a pair of earphones.

With the overwhelming support from the Indian Market for the Asus Zenfone 5, Asus Might place this price group anywhere between 12 k to 15K INR, sources say.

As per the Asus Zenfone 2 Facebook page, the phone might well be launched in advance to 23rd.
As per the specs, Zenfone 2 comes in three variants which hosts either 2GB/4GB RAM and the 4GB version is going to be the first of its kind in Indian Market as already last month in China, Zeoro has introduced a 4GB Phablet.
